VPNG Scholarships & Grants
Sr Mary Felix and June Allen Scholarships
Sister Mary Felix AM (1919-2008) and June Allen AM are inaugural members of the Theatre Sisters Section of the Royal Victorian College of Nursing, Life members of the VPNG and Honorary Fellows of the Australian College of Perioperative Nurses. The VPNG is privileged to name scholarships for postgraduate studies in perioperative nursing, to honour their achievements in the development of the nursing profession.
Please apply for this scholarship if you are enrolling in a postgraduate studies to complete at a Certificate or Diploma level.
Applications are now closed for 2019. Applications will re-open prior to 28 February 2020.
Marea Fennell Scholarship
This scholarship for postgraduate studies in management or education is named for esteemed Life Member of VPNG, Marea Fennell (1939-2010). The inaugural scholarship commemorated the 50th Anniversary of VPNG.
Please apply for this scholarship if you enrolling in a Masters course in either management or education.

Mary Barry Medtronic Education Grant
This grant is offered biannually for VPNG members for ongoing professional development by international or interstate conference (other than ACORN biennial conference) attendance or project/research work. Named in honor of respected Life member of VPNG and Honorary Fellow of the Australian College of Perioperative Nurses Mary Barry OAM (1926-2012), and now proudly sponsored by Medtronic.
Please apply for this grant if you are undertaking a quality improvement or research project or attending an international / interstate conference.

VPNG conference grants
Grants for VPNG members to attend the VPNG Conference are made available each year. The number of grants awarded will be determined by the annual budget.
Applications are now closed for 2019.
Applications will be made available again in 2021.
